Curator’s Choice – hand-selected art prints for everyone
Our special edition Curator’s Choice range has framed prints from each of the Art UK Partner Collections. Each print has been chosen by a member of the museum or art gallery’s team to represent an artwork that matches the style, theme or subject of their collections of oil paintings. Each Curator includes a few words about the painting, artist and why they chose it to showcase their establishment.
This series of art prints comes supplied in a standard frame that is ready to hang on your wall. We use a black wood wall frame in either portrait, landscape, or square formats. We choose whichever orientation works most effectively with the print. Our frames use acrylic rather than glass. We use a common frame size of:
42 x 34 cm (landscape)
34 x 42 cm (portrait)
34 x 34 cm (square)
All our prints are professionally printed and framed in the UK using quality frames and 190gsm semi-gloss bright white photo paper.
Beautiful wall art for a great price
We offer our Curator’s Choice framed prints at the low price of just £40. This is considerably lower than our usual custom frame solution.
The prints in this range are suitable for a variety of audiences including students who want to decorate their rooms, or people on a budget, moving into a new home and wanting to add some character and colour. They also make a great starting point for people new to the art world, looking for ways to enjoy paintings at home.
If you like the artwork but would prefer a different style of frame for the picture then our custom frame solution is for you. We offer a choice of frame types, colours, sizes and photo paper.
Support UK-based art collections
Art UK is a charity with the goal of making art available to everyone. Part of this work is to partner with a number of museums and art galleries who make a large portion of their ranges available to buy as reproduction prints online through the Art UK Shop. A portion of each sale goes to the owning collection to help them continue with their work. If you like art, then a purchase from the Art UK Shop helps to support UK-based collections.
