Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums' venues have vast collections of archives, art, archaeology, military and social history, maritime history, science and technology, natural sciences and ethnography.

On the Art UK Shop you’ll find artworks from five diverse collections – Laing Art Gallery, Hatton Gallery, Shipley Art Gallery, South Shields Museum and Art Gallery and Tyne & Wear Museums Maritime and Industrial Collection – available as prints. The Laing Art Gallery holds one of the world’s most important collections of work by nineteenth-century artist John Martin.
