The Fleming Collection

The Fleming Collection is a remarkable holding of Scottish art, widely considered the finest outside of public institutions. The collection was formed in 1968, when the investment bank Robert Fleming & Co, which had been founded in Dundee in 1873, began to acquire Scottish art to hang in its offices worldwide. Since then, the collection has acquired works spanning the seventeenth century to present day. Groups represented include the Scottish Colourists and Glasgow Boys and Girls as well as pieces by William McTaggart, Edward Atkinson Hornel, Flora McDonald Reid and many more. Below you can browse a selection of extraordinary works, available to buy as art prints on the Art UK Shop.
