Canterbury Museums and Galleries

Canterbury Museums and Galleries bring the city's rich culture, art and heritage to life. With collections dating back to 1825, Canterbury Museums and Galleries now hold a nationally important group of works by locally born Victorian painter Thomas Sidney Cooper, as well as images of Canterbury Cathedral, works related to the murder of Thomas Becket and Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, and portraits of many local people.
