Armagh County Museum opened in 1937 and is the oldest County Museum in Ireland, celebrating the stories of those who have lived, worked or had connections to Armagh city and county.The museum’s art collection is home to hundreds of works, including those by widely known Irish artists such as T. P. Flanagan, Maurice MacGonigal and J. B. Vallely. The collection of works by ‘AE’ (George Russell) is one of the largest in Ireland.
