East Riding of Yorkshire contains over 2,350 paintings located in a wide range of collections from the dramatic stately homes of Burton Constable and Sewerby to the remarkable holdings of both Hull City and East Riding Council. A wealth of collections are reproduced including the distinctive Hull University ‘art in Britain from 1890 to 1940’ Collection, the sixteenth-century Dutch Masters at the internationally recognised Ferens Art Gallery, as well as the unique Waterways Museum in Goole. Unique paintings by contemporary artists in the HAFNEY Trust which not only covers Bridlington, but also the North Yorkshire hospitals of Scarborough, Malton and Whitby are also included.
