About this film
The Coventry Sculpture by Peter Laszlo Peri was commissioned for the opening of the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum in 1960. The sculpture shows the people of Coventry at work and play, but what does the current generation make of it? A group of young people take a good look at this huge sculpture and at another view of Coventry, Scenes from the Passion: Wednesday Week by painter George Shaw, who also grew up in the city.
This is one of a series of four-minute films produced by schools and young people's groups from across the UK about sculpture local to them.
