William Schupbach works at Wellcome Collection in the Collections and Research Department. He started the cataloguing of the prints, drawings, paintings and photographs of the Wellcome Collection in 1990, resulting in an online catalogue that currently contains records of around 80,000 pictures. He has also worked on other projects, including the descriptions and images of over 5,000 Wellcome Collection pictures on Art UK, exhibitions, conferences, blog posts and acquisitions, the most recent acquisition being a collection of paintings by artists in a psychiatric hospital (The Adamson Collection).
