Wendy is a secondary school teacher in English but with a love of art and history: the perfect combination. For the past 9 years, she has been travelling extensively to find inspiration for her blog, Travels with My Art: Exploring art: one gallery, one artist, one country at a time! Wendy has also written for Daily Art Magazine.

Wendy is proud of her Birmingham industrial heritage and is drawn to artworks that reflect the industrial landscape. Her favourite time period is the 1910s, and consequently, her favourite work is Jacob Epstein’s Rock Drill.
