Richard Cork is an award-winning art critic, historian, exhibition curator and broadcaster. He was Art Critic for the Evening Standard and The Times. His books include major studies of Vorticism, Art Beyond the Gallery in Early 20th Century England, David Bomberg, A Bitter Truth: Avant-Garde Art and The Great War and The Healing Presence of Art: A History of Western Art in Hospitals. He has curated exhibitions at the Barbican, the Hayward Gallery, The National Gallery, The Royal Academy, Tate and many other venues. Four volumes of his selected art criticism were published by Yale, and he is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Academy.
