Nichol Keene is a writer and curator from East London. She thinks and writes about art, design, food cultures and adventure. Often found outdoors, she recently completed a 90-kilometre solo hike over four days in Patagonia. As a poet, she has performed all over the world, including residencies and readings in Paris, Warsaw and Berlin. Her work has been commissioned by the Houses of Parliament, Battersea Arts Centre, the National Portrait Gallery and many others. She’s also a former resident artist at The Roundhouse. Beyond writing she has curated a creative meanwhile space for Brixton Village Market and founded a small press, creating limited editions with artists and writers. From 2019 to 2024, she was the Creative Programmer for V&A Dundee, where she curated and led major public programmes and creative events.
