Imogen is an art historian, writer and curator, currently a curatorial fellow at The National Gallery. She was previously a fellow at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and assistant curator of the art collections at Royal Holloway, University of London, where she wrote Modern Portraits for Modern Women: Principals and Pioneers in the Royal Holloway and Bedford New College Art Collection. She writes for publications including Apollo and she hosts Garsington Opera's interdisciplinary arts YouTube series Music for the Eyes. Her PhD from the Courtauld Institute of Art was about the reception of Sienese painting. She is on the steering committee for the Society for the History of Collecting.
