Ian is the Building and Collections Manager at Oriel Môn on the Isle of Anglesey, where he has worked since 1998. He has a degree in Environmental Management from Bangor University and an MA in Museum Studies from Leicester University.

He was born and raised on Anglesey and has a keen interest in the island's landscape, history and wildlife. He is an active member of the Anglesey Antiquarian Society.
