Aled joined Art UK in 2018 as an Image Officer (read: picture-wrangler). He studied Painting at Edinburgh College of Art and has previously worked as a freelance technical assistant to artists, alongside website development and graphic design.
Beyond a love of comical and grotesque faces in art, (for which his job at Art UK provides a reliable fix) in his own work he is interested in symbols, language and mistranslations, and their effects on trends and identities.
