Penlee House Gallery & Museum in Penzance holds an important and historic collection of artworks linked to the Newlyn School, as well as artists drawn to this part of Cornwall during the 20th Century. Housed in a Victorian home and gardens built in 1865, it became Penzance District Museum in 1949. This selection includes a few pre-20th Century artworks by key members of the Newlyn School, as well as some of the works on paper collection, including a representative selection of posters encouraging travel to Penzance.

Artists featured in this Curation: Samuel John Lamorna Birch (1869–1955), John Armstrong (1893–1973), Frank Bramley (1857–1915), Charles Breaker (1906–1985), Ithell Colquhoun (1906–1988), Percy Robert Craft (1856–1934), Alfred (Douggie) Douglas Drew (1926–2002), Martin Ellis (1909–1977), Rosamund Fletcher (1908–1993), William Teulon Blandford Fletcher (1858–1936), and 52 more
