A painting depicting flowers in a mug on a table. The mug is in the Compton Verney collection. Enid Marx often juxtaposed unusual combinations of objects in her still life compositions. These two examples painted in oil show her interest in the colours and textures of flowers from her garden with objects from the ladies' folk art collection.
