Unveiled to the public for the bicentenary in 1970 by his great-great-grandson, this bronze bust of the poet William Wordsworth is a cast of an original marble version by Sir Francis Chantrey. It is a portrait heralded by many to be in extraordinary likeness to the poet and sits impressively on a stone plinth in a fitting location across from his birthplace.
