'"White Space' speaks to issues of racial exclusion and systemic prejudice. It visualises my experience as a black professional, walking into every office, agency, business or conference for 20 years, and rarely seeing another black face. My mother always said that someone would always have to be the "first". But what does that say about these spaces we're constantly trying to get into? The access and validation we seek – the rooms we fight to be in. What message are we being told?' (Greg Bunbury)
