One of the first, and largest, commissions for the new Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, the mural comprises 12 panels sited in pairs in the same place across six floors of the Hospital, relating to each other both vertically and horizontally. The Waterfalls progress from the top floor of the Hospital down through consecutive floors in various forms, streams, pools, falls, spray and finally end in pools on the lower ground floor. The poetry included in the panels recall lines from Wordsworth.
