Four pictures of the Neath waterfalls were painted for the landlord of the 'Lamb and Flag' pub, Glyn Neath. Identical sets were painted for the ironmaster J. J. Guest and the famous physicist Michael Faraday. Faraday destroyed his paintings by accident while cleaning them with alcohol!
