A stone hexagonal column on a stone hexagonal base enclosed within a low wall. The column is decorated with a cross and wreath at the top. On the hexagonal base are inscribed the roll of honour on slate tablets set into the face of the pedestal. The memorial stands on a raised platform in gardens on the main street.
