A carved royal coat of arms. The shield shows the various emblems of the different parts of the United Kingdom. To the left of the shield is an English lion and to the right a Scottish unicorn. The shield is surmounted by the royal crown and with the motto of the Sovereign below. There is a date stone above. Originally the coat of arms was on Longridge's Drill Hall which was demolished in 1914.
