A Celtic cross set on a tapering shaft, which is mounted on a three-stepped octagonal plinth. It is surrounded by a chain-link fence. There are conflicting details about who built it, with some saying it was built by Wood and Wallis of Tunbridge Wells while others suggest it was built by Burslems.
