An octagonal base, with a cross on the shaft above. It consists of a base with plinth, nosing for the seat edge and a further octagonal step above, a square base with an octagon worked on top with shaped corners, and a laurel wreath in relief on the north and south faces. The tapered octagonal shaft has a moulded capital, carrying a tall carved head, and is gabled on four sides, with pinnacle above. The head has a crucifixion on the west, a virgin and child on the east, and Saint George and dragon on the north and south faces.
