Bronze statue of the Duke of Buccleuch standing on a richly ornamented two-stage ashlar hexagonal plinth. On each face of the plinth are bronze panels with intricate cresting depicting allegorical figures and scenes from the Duke's life. The sculpture was changed from Category B to Category A at resurvey (2007–2008).
