The torso section of the work only. She is holding the baby Jesus in her left hand, he is holding a dove. Both are missing their heads, but the stone has weathered suggesting damage prior to exposure or deposition. There is medium-relief drapery around the whole piece and traces of original paint survive within the folds of the drapery.
