A view of Carmarthen Quay. Lewis was the father of the artist Edward Morland Lewis and was known for his watercolours of Carmarthen and Carmarthenshire. Until his retirement he was the manager of the Gas Company in Carmarthen (he was affectionately known as 'Lewis the Gas'). He attended evening classes at Carmarthen School of Art in the 1890s.
