Aberdeen Harbour and Albert Basin from point law. In the 1870s and 1880s, the Albert Basin was at its busiest during the summer herring fishing. A foreign sailing vessel lies alongside the wooden wharf at lower Point Law, loading barrels of herring for continental markets. The tug 'Bon-Accord' has been towing a sailing drifter into harbour. Sailing drifters and yawls lie on the north side of the basin.
