A reredos in three panels in the apse of the ruined chapel, with the central panel inlaid in coloured marbles and a mosaic picture of Saint George slaying the dragon. There are names in black in the two side panels of white stone, borders, and frieze of coloured mosaic. After destruction by a flying bomb in 1944 the chapel remains a roofless shell with just the lower parts of the walling remaining, except at the west end where the entrance porch is largely intact.
