Open-air memorial to all V2 rocket victims, and to the three people who died in the first V2 rocket to land in England during World War II. The rocket exploded in Staveley Road on 8th September 1944. It landed in the centre of the road, killing 3 people and injuring 22. It also destroyed 11 houses and seriously seriously damaged 27 in the immediate area. An adjacent information panel gives extensive information about the attack and the victims.
