This painting is one of a series of works completed in 1990. The artist uses existing photographic material which is transferred onto canvas using an industrial printing process. The blue print is then reworked in oil paints. This painting relates to memory and it focuses on the way in which photographs simulate or stimulate memory, as if becoming proof of the past.
