A group of four elaboratory carved calcite vessels, which originally contained perfumed ointment, were found in a space between two ritual beds in the antechamber of the tomb of Tutankhamun. This photograph was taken a few weeks after Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon discovered the tomb in November 1922.
