The building has a complex history of building phases and redevelopment, and the façade is largely intact. There has been continued redevelopment and additions between 1904 and 2012 with multiple architects. The pair of kneeling Triton figures are sited outside the arched Finsbury Square entrance to the former Triton Court. The figures hold globe lamps above their heads. They are signed and stamped by both the sculptor and foundry to the rear.
