Using rich colour and strong line, Megan Jones’s work is an expression of the visual impact of the subject matter, whether sunlight and shadow, a cascade of water, or the sweep of valley and mountain. Her restricted palette of six colours induces and intensity and power into her paintings, symbolising and emphasising the strength of nature.
