The kookaburra or laughing kingfisher, the koala or native bear and the ringtail opossum, are depicted on a branch of Eucalyptus Callophylla with leaves, buds, flowers and fruits. Four kinds of wood are used: the outer margin is rosewood; the oval frame is blackwood; the carving is white cedar and the background woollybutt.
