An equestrian statue, of a Trooper of the Regiment in full review order of 1899, on a buttressed pedestal bearing panels, one bearing two eagles, with inscriptions and regimental badges. It commemorates the Royal Scots Greys who left Edinburgh in 1899 to fight in the South African War.
