In the foreground is sandy, rocky earth, with trees at far left and far right. Beyond, we look down upon a narrow expanse of earth which spans the image from left to right. Two lines of camels stand at left, and there are riders on the backs of two camels in the rightmost group. To right of centre is a small group of trees with three buildings visible among and beside the trees, including a domed building. Figures stand in front and to right of the group of trees.
