At centre of image is the window of a Punch and Judy stall, or similar. In the window, to right, is a woman with long hair in ringlets. She wears a dress which leaves her shoulders and arms bare, and she wears a necklace of a single strand of pearls. In her arms is a stylised baby consisting of a cylinder with a face at the top. A halo attached to the back of the baby is above the face. Behind the baby is another female figure with face and hair similar to that of the first. To left of this figure is the head of a horned cow or bull, a ring through its nose. Below and to left of the cow are three male faces. The male face to left wears a crown; the face at the centre wears a short cylindrical hat; and the face to right wears a conical hat with horizontal bands.
