A public mural to commemorate victims of the COVID-19 pandemic, red and pink hearts are painted and maintained by volunteers. Bereaved families of those who have died from COVID-19 are invited to add an inscription to the wall in memory of their loved one. The Friends of the Wall continually fundraise to support their cause which is to make the Memorial Wall a permanent feature. As of 2022 they tirelessly maintain each heart dedication manually, in all weather conditions.
