'The Listening Place' celebrates the history, the bards and the agricultural aspect of the area. The artist worked with the local community from the design stage to create the sculpture. There are bronze casts of poems by local bards Donald MacDonald from South Lochboisdale and Donald J. MacDonald from Peninerine. The poems are in Gaelic with translations in English.
