The right side of the composition is dominated by a group of tall trees. In the middle-distance (right) is King's Mill, a tall monastic-looking building with Dutch gables and a chapel-like extension with gothic mullioned windows. On the river (foreground) right, can be seen a boatman punting his craft which contains two barrels. On the left (foreground) two boys are fishing.
