The memorial commemorates the 12 year history of the Highlanders (Seaforth, Gordon and Camerons) who as an Infantry Regiment of the Line existed from 17th September 1993 to 28th March 2006. It is dedicated to the regiment, all who served in her and those who died in service on operations, training or daily duties. The memorial is an interpretation of the badge and consists of a stags head, a thistle and crown. A scroll is beneath with the regiment's motto.
