A rich, autumnal Cambrian landscape looking down a river, running through a narrow mountain gorge. Steep cliffs are rising high and misty on either side. In the middleground, lush woodland is visible on the lower reaches of the left-hand mountainside. In the foreground, a few trees cling onto the steep rockface to the right. There is an arched bridge over the river in the middle distance, partially obscured by trees. A bird flies low over the water in the bottom right corner.
