Adrian Knight's paintings and ink drawings are concerned with ecology and community relations. Here he dreams of a happy, ideal community. However the plants are a threatening presence, perhaps representing forces beyond the control of local people.

After his death by suicide it was revealed that the artist's happy public face was just a mask for his unhappy personal life.
