Deserted view of the Avonmouth estuary, with the shore in the foreground on top of which a group of beached rowing boats float, a single cottage can also be seen to the far left. The landscape scene is sparce, with few extraneous details. The landscape is depicted in very light brown and blue tones, creating a very calm, almost spiritual image.
