A memorial to the Scottish philosopher, Dugald Stewart, based on the Choragic Monument of Lysicrates in Athens. It is a circular temple of nine fluted Corinthian columns around an elevated urn on a circular podium and features a shallow domed roof, surmounted at centre by plumed open urn. It features restored polygonal cast iron fencing with stone piers, ornamented with wreaths.
