View through a cottage window with a deep window sill on which sits a bowl of cyclamen flowers. Heavy curtains are drawn to the sides, one window catchment to the left is slightly ajar, opening onto a tree-lined winter garden. The work is executed in pastel shades of lilac and green, with moddled paintwork reminiscent of impressionism.
