This picture shows an early morning tea break on the Etna tip (Davison’s top yard quarry) in 1966. The people in the pictures are two of the Buckley Urban District Council refuse collectors and the tip attendant. The models for these people were (left to right) James Williams of Chester Road, Vincent Thornton of Princess Avenue and Leonard Hayes of Westbourne Crescent. The picture was exhibited at the Royal Cambrian Academy of Art Summer Exhibition in 1990.
