Poster, British Railways, T.G.I.F. (Thank Goodness it's Friday), Spend the weekend with someone special on a cheap weekend return, 1981. Coloured lithograph with a photograph of a young couple running through the countryside, holding hands. Inset at bottom right is a photograph of television personality Jimmy Savile, in a blue tracksuit with the British Rail double arrow logo. Text in a box gives details of sample fares to Bournemouth, Northampton, Peterborough, Rugby and Southampton. Below are the words "This is the age of the train" and the British Rail double arrow logo. Text at bottom reads "Published by BRB (Central Advertising Services). Printed in Great Britain by Impress (Acton) Ltd." Format double royal.
