A work depicting the Good Samaritan supporting the injured wayfarer another seated on a donkey while talking to the innkeeper beneath a tree. The setting is an exotic woodland, complete with camel. Bronze inscription dedicates the relief to Sarah Elizabeth Wardroper, St Thomas' great reforming matron. The relief and plaque are set in a marble frame. This was the first memorial to a woman erected in the Hospital chapel.
